Discovery Bank needed a website that cut through the complexity of healthier banking, while simultaneously highlighting its benefits and optimising the user's experience across in-app, mobile and web formats.
Discovery debuted the world's first behavioural bank in 2019, empowering clients to objectively evaluate their financial status, utilize financial tools to enact changes and remain incentivized by personalised goals and rewards. Røering Creative Kin was assigned the responsibility of developing an 'editorial web page,' and this is the solution we delivered:
We developed a custom, from-scratch website with an elegant and intuitive site journey. This showcased the seamlessness of behavioural banking, its potential for personalisation and just how rewarding it could be.
After working on the website, we realized that we needed to think about how users experience the whole site. Unfortunately, we noticed that people were leaving this particular page quite often according to the analytics. Although the page looks beautiful, we found out that it wasn't meeting the users' needs and they were dropping off. Additionally, we learned that having too many fancy elements can slow down the website's performance.
